Verachek was built by a materials and product-compliance engineer working day-to-day with REACH, PFAS, RoHS, SCIP, POPs, ODS, F-gas and WEEE obligations in industrial manufacturing, with a background in R&D materials and an M.Sc. in Materials Science & Engineering.
The screening engine grew out of the same work: a curated regulatory knowledge base, a screening workflow that applies concentration limits, sum-rules and derogations the way a compliance engineer would, and a review gate so nothing high-risk leaves unchecked. Verachek is based in Augsburg, Bavaria, and operates under Substantia Regulatory.

Is a Verachek verdict legal advice?
Because the legal duty under REACH, RoHS and the other regulations sits with the manufacturer, importer or distributor, not with a screening tool. Verachek gives you a well-founded, cited verdict to act on; the decision and the responsibility remain yours. Every report, the free check and our Terms say so, and we back it with an engineer review of every high-risk result.
My verdict is FLAGGED. What now?
The data couldn't support a verdict: usually a missing concentration, a scanned PDF without a text layer, or a Section 3 table that didn't reconcile. The flag tells you exactly what is missing. Supply it and re-run, the re-run doesn't count against your allowance.
How long does a RED review take?
Standard plans target one working day; Professional is prioritised; Business includes an SLA. You are emailed the moment the reviewed report is released.
Can I share a report with a customer or auditor?
Yes. Every report, Article 33 declaration and dossier has its own shareable link (30 days on pay-per-report; for the life of your subscription otherwise), and exports to PDF and CSV.
Where is my data processed?
In EU regions where our stack allows, with a documented sub-processor list. See the Privacy Policy; business customers can sign our DPA.
Do you offer white-label for consultants and labs?
Yes, pooled volume, per-client workspaces and optional branding. Contact us for reseller terms.
